Buying a house is often a complex and confusing process but if you are a first time buyer it can be an even more daunting experience. Here at McGlone & McCabe we understand how stressful it can be and do everything in our power to ensure the process runs as smoothly as possible.

YOUR HOME MAY BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON YOUR MORTGAGE. For this service a fee of £250 is payable on all standard mortgage applications, £100 for standard re-mortgages and £250 where capital is being raised. All fees are paid on mortgage offer.

We will:

  • Assess affordability and identify a budget.
  • Advise you on deposit requirements and the other upfront costs involved in purchasing your first home. (valuation fees, arrangement fees, stamp duty etc..)
  • Explain the basics on how mortgages work and the various types of mortgages available to first time buyers.
  • Tailor a solution to suit your individual house purchase and affordability requirements.
  • Guide you through the process from initial mortgage application to mortgage offer.
  • Liaise with vendors, solicitors and any other third party required to ensure timely completion of the mortgage.
